Nigel Higgins was appointed Chief Executive Officer in March 2010. Until January 2013 he was also Co-Head of Rothschild's Global Financial Advisory division, which he led for a decade.
Nigel joined Rothschild in 1982 after graduating from Oxford University. Since the late 1990s he has held a number of senior positions within Rothschild,
including Head of UK Investment Banking and Co-Head of European Investment Banking.
During his 30 year career Nigel has advised a broad range of international corporate clients. He has also undertaken a wide variety of government and privatisation assignments principally in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Denmark and Turkey.
Nigel was a member of the Advisory Board for the Commercial Directorate of the UK's National Health Service from 2002–2007, and is a Governor of a London school.
