Paige McPheely is determined to help leaders receive the support they deserve. On this mission, she stepped into the role of co-founder and CEO at Base, the only Talent Intelligence Marketplace for assistants.
Paige didn’t set out to be an entrepreneur, but found herself frustrated by the inflexible corporate grind and in a unique position to
build something special with her long-time friend, Casey Putschoegl. In 2013 they founded 33Vincent, a remote assistant agency, at a time when remote work was far from the norm. It was instantly clear that high-caliber, flexible support was in demand, which meant their business doubled (or tripled) YoY.
Eventually, the lack of resources available to assistants began to hinder the company’s growth so they decided to build their own software to support them. Base launched in 2019 as the only workflow platform for assistants, effectively solving this problem. In early 2022, Base acquired 33Vincent, bringing the two founders together again. Casey and Paige have since combined their talent and tech into an AI-based marketplace that delivers a massive, diverse network of well-resourced assistants and similar roles that help propel leaders to their next level. Coincidentally, they each welcomed three sons into the world over the last decade, so they understand the value of time as much as anyone, and find great joy in helping other founders navigate it themselves.
