Pat Talamantes became President and Chief Executive Officer of McClatchy in May 2012.
From 2001 to 2012, Talamantes served as McClatchy’s Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In addition to being responsible for all of McClatchy’s financial operations, Talamantes was responsible for information technology and shared business
services.
From May 2011 to May 2012, he assumed additional oversight of McClatchy’s Florida operations, which include the Miami Herald, the Spanish-language El Nuevo Herald and the Bradenton Herald newspapers.
