Paul Humphries is the president of High Reliability Solutions, a business group at Flextronics (NASDAQ: FLEX) that serves the energy, medical, automotive and aerospace and defense markets. Flextronics is a $24B, industry-leading, Fortune Global 500 end-to-end supply chain solutions company with a global workforce of 200,000 and operations in over
30 countries.
Most recently, Mr. Humphries served as executive vice president of Human Resources (HR). In that capacity, he led Flextronics’ global human resources organization, programs and related functions including global loss prevention, environmental compliance and management systems.
Mr. Humphries joined Flextronics with the acquisition of Chatham Technologies Incorporated in April 2000. While at Chatham Technologies, he served as senior vice president of Global Operations for the mechanicals business.
Prior to being appointed to that role, Mr. Humphries held several senior management positions at Allied Signal, Honeywell and Borg Warner Corporation.
Mr. Humphries holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in applied social studies from Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University) and post-graduate certification in human resource management from West Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education.
In addition Mr. Humphries serves as Chairman of the Board for the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, a not for profit organization focused on delivering innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) initiatives and programs for Silicon Valley students to prepare them for college and careers.
