Paul Perrone is founder and CEO of Perrone Robotics, Inc. (PRI). He is the inventor of the MAX general-purpose robotics software platform, patented in 2006. Paul leads PRI's efforts in evolving MAX, fielding it in commercial deployments, and is leading PRI's effort to commercialize MAX for widespread adoption. Paul led a 2005 DARPA Grand
Challenge team and 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge team, automated rocker Neil Young’s extended-range electric vehicle LincVolt, led PRI's commercial efforts in autonomous ground vehicles and advanced sensor perception applications, and led the company’s development of robotic platforms for testing advanced driver assistance systems and automated vehicles.
