Paul Read serves as president and chief operating officer of Ingram Micro Inc., a Fortune 100 company and the world’s largest technology distributor and supply-chain services provider. Read is responsible for the worldwide IT distribution business and the associated logistics support organizations, with the company’s regional presidents reporting
directly to him. He was named to the position in September 2013.
Prior to taking on this role, Read had served as an Ingram Micro board of director from September 2012 and was with Flextronics Inc., an industry-leading, electronics manufacturing services provider from June 1995 to June 2013. He most recently served as chief financial officer and executive vice president, responsible for managing all aspects of finance and IT. Before that, he served as the company's executive vice president of finance for worldwide operations. Read's financial management and operations background included increasingly important operational roles at Flextronics where he led many critical initiatives that included serving as the lead executive responsible for the integration of the Solectron acquisition.
