Started my career as a junior software engineer at Edward Lumley and Sons & then moved up to Senior Software Engineer at Honeywell. Had a long stint in sports management before founding Australia’s first online sports registration and ticketing portal, SportsDNA, in 2000. Unfortunately the dot com bust followed soon after and there was no
funding available in the industry to continue.
After a sabbatical, I founded Travellersxpress that went on to become one of Australia's largest inbound working holiday companies. In 2010, Travellersxpress launched the industry’s first Visa Prepaid Travel Card in conjunction with Macquarie Bank.
Having exited Travellersxpress and another sabbatical, I started The Card Group in 2013, which provided white label prepaid cards and reward solutions to sporting teams. I then went on to start INAMO and collaborated with Visa to pilot WaveShades (Pay-by-Sunglasses) at all 5 Fringe Music Festivals throughout Australia. Visa US demonstrated WaveShades at SXSW.
Relocated to Santa Monica, California where we piloted the first contactless wearable in the U.S that resulted in us partnering with VISA. We're now in stealth to prepare to launch in 2021.
