Peter is a serial entrepreneur and creative technologist focusing on large-scale social impact. He merges art, science, and business acumen to develop effective and resilient technology, models, and companies for climate, population health, education, and finance.
Peter has been named by IBM as a Platinum Global Entrepreneur for his work in
Cognitive AI, IoT, and pioneering network intelligence and location technology, and his development of high-performance digital twins. His team recently won Microsoft's 2021 AI for Earth award for planetary computer development of climate solutions.
He has been recognized by global organizations for seeing gaps where others can not across the health, climate, energy, manufacturing, transportation, social, and financial sectors. He has done this for both global leadership and local communities.
He is an expert in advanced technology, computational simulations, global risk management, population health, finance, social science, geospatial intelligence systems, and technology-enabled socially conscious value chains. This includes intelligent and transparent supply chains using IoT and satellite data.
His global health programs have been deployed in Rwanda, Sudan, and North America and he has developed computational neuroscience AI, brain-computer interfaces, and is building a digital twin of civilization for global risk intelligence across health, climate, biodiversity, and energy.
As a Sr. Fellow at Thomas Jefferson School of Population Health, he focused on clinical empathy, simulation, and behavioral change in clinical environments.
He sold his last AI technology company to AIG, and was backed by Microsoft, IBM, and AutoDesk. Previously, he sold his intelligent vehicle manufacturing platform to Nissan.
He is also an executive producer of media across documentary, journalism, and social impact he has brought globally complex, data-rich, and empathic stories to life, driving change and accountability.
