Philip has been in the games industry since 1992 and has held a variety of design and management roles.
Prior to founding Row Sham Bow, Philip was General Manager of EA Tiburon, where he oversaw all aspects of production and development of Madden, NCAA Football, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, EA SPORTS MMA, NASCAR, NFL Head Coach, and other titles.
Philip joined EA Tiburon as Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining EA, Philip was Senior Vice President of Product Development at THQ, where he was responsible for the company’s externally developed products, including WWE Smackdown Vs Raw, Full Spectrum Warrior, Company of Heroes, Titan Quest, and other titles.
Prior to joining THQ, Philip was Vice President of Product Development and Operations at Volition, where he oversaw development of FreeSpace 2, Red Faction 1 & 2, and Summoner 1 & 2. Before joining Volition, Philip was Development Director at EA Seattle where he managed several FIFA and Triple Play products.
Philip began his career at Manley & Associates as Project Manager and Designer. Philip received a BA from The Evergreen State College.
Philip serves on the boards of Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, University of Central Florida’s College of Engineering and Computer Science, Florida High Tech Corridor Council, and The PRISM Project.
