Pierre Beaurang, Ph.D., serves as Chief Business Officer at Nurix. Prior to joining Nurix, Dr. Beaurang was part of the founding team of Five Prime Therapeutics where he contributed to the conceptualization, creation and implementation of the company plan. Dr. Beaurang held roles of increasing
responsibility and negotiated a number of major collaborations with global pharmaceutical firms, including with GlaxoSmithKline, UCB and Bristol Myers Squibb, helping secure an aggregate $270 million in near term revenues and more than $2.4 billion in potential milestone payments. Dr. Beaurang holds a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco. He holds a B.A. and a M.A. in biology and biotechnology, respectively, from Boston University.
