Pietro Cesati graduated in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University and obtained the CEMS Master's Degree in International Management in Stockholm.
He worked in the banking & finance sector for 14 years, as an analyst and then manager in Reuters and Oliver Wyman and then moved to the bank in UniCredit and finally as Head of
Risk Management in BNL BNP Paribas.
In Unicredit he dealt with the management of the credit risk of the mortgage portfolio and in the more than seven years in BNL BNP Paribas has expanded the scope of management to the entire loan portfolio to individuals and companies.
Fed up with inertia and the inability to adapt to the banks, in 2015 he founded Soisy with the ambition to reinvent banking services around lending between people , with cutting-edge technological experience that is both pleasant and fast.
In Soisy he also experiments with a new type of business organization suitable for listening and serving customers better: remote, agile, fluid and participatory.
When he is not working he reads books of all kinds, even though since he founded Soisy most of them have talked about start-up, business model canvas and agile. He also loves to experiment with new sports and lately he practices tennis, skiing, surfing and yoga, without forgetting the table football at lunchtime with his colleagues.
