Ran served as Economic & Technology Advisor at the Office of the President during the presidency of Shimon Peres, becoming one of his most senior advisors, and leading numerous technological and scientific projects to promote the State of Israel on the world arena. Following the completion of the presidency of Shimon Peres, Ran assumed an
integral role in the establishment of Peres and Associates advisory firm. Ran’s finance career began at Lehman Brothers and was followed by an Investment Manager position at Portland Capital Hedge Fund. He received his BA in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from UCL in the UK and his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in the US. In addition, he completed the investment management program at London Business School and an executive program at Harvard Business School. During his career, Ran has advised on numerous transactions in a range of fields. Ran also serves as co chairman of the innovation expo at the Israeli Innovation Center.
