Dr. Randal Baker is the Chairman of the Board and Founder of BFKW, a startup company that created the Full Sense Device. Dr. Baker also serves as President of Grand Health Partners and is an active bariatric surgeon. He is very involved in bariatric leadership and research and has served as a reviewer for the SOARD and OBESITY SURGERY journals. He
is also involved in medical student and PA education and serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery for Michigan State University.
Dr. Baker has served as Medical Director for Bariatric Services and Surgical Critical Care at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids along with President of the Michigan Bariatric Society. He has authored a number of peer reviewed articles including the “Science of Stapling and Leaks,” which became one of the most downloaded articles regarding Surgical stapling.
