Rao is a seasoned executive, having spent 25 years with Westinghouse Electric Company, serving as the Vice President of their Automation Division. He was instrumental in winning $2.5M in U.S. Navy funding and an additional $1M in industry partner funding for developing the company’s InteliWare products. He is the primary inventor of the seminal
patent, an industry differentiator, held by Inteligistics.
Rao currently serves on the Board and is the founding investor of Mobile Aspects, Inc., a provider of automated RFID based tracking systems in hospitals.
Prior to his years at Westinghouse, he worked at the Boeing Company in logistics and engineering positions.
He holds M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
