Ravi is a former merchant marine oil-tanker Captain. During his over ten years of sailing career, Ravi served as an Officer on many different types of ocean-going ships including as Chief Officer on modern fully refrigerated ships. He has sailed to over hundred countries around the globe. Prior to founding OxiCool, Ravi gained valuable banking
experience when Ford Motor Company asked him to go to India on an expat assignment as Chief Financial Officer of ~$1.0 billion Ford Credit joint ventures in Mumbai. Previously, Ravi also had profit leadership on a $12 billion global new car program in Cologne, Germany – joint between Ford, Volvo, and Mazda.
Ravi is a hands-on leader who has been fortunate to lead an invigorating childhood growing up in a small town in India with his auto enthusiast father learning to repair and maintain their collection of English motorcycles and a Ford Falcon when no spare parts were available. Ravi is passionately committed to OxiCool and his mantra for OxiCool – ‘let us leave a better environment for future generations’.Ravi holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Pre-MBA from the University of Dallas, and a Master Mariner’s license (B.Sc) from LBS College of Advanced Maritime Research and Studies, Mumbai, India.
