Richard Carbone has been a director of the Company since August 2013. Carbone was formerly Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Financial, Inc. from 1997 through 2013, and served as Executive Vice President until retiring from that position in February 2014. Carbone brings nearly four decades of experience in financial services, having held senior
finance office positions in both the banking and securities industries, including Managing Director and Controller of Salomon Brothers and Senior Vice President and Controller of Bankers Trust Company. He began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co. Carbone received an M.B.A. from St. John’s University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
He was an officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1972. Carbone is a member of the board of directors for Resolution Life Holdings and its indirect subsidiary, Lincoln Beneficial Life. He is also a director on the board of a non-profit organization focused on helping disabled adults and indigent children. Carbone is a member of the E*TRADE Bank board and a member of the Audit Committee, where he is designated an audit committee financial expert, and the Compensation Committee.
