Richard Frank was named Chairman, President and CEO of Food.com in September, 1998 and immediately began building a team to take Food.com into its next development phase. His vision of creating the premier food destination site on the Internet includes building up its core online meal takeout and delivery business while expanding the offerings
available through Food.com. Frank was chairman of Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications (1994-1995) as it broadened its U.S. and international presence by distributing programs like “Home Improvement“ and “Siskel and Ebert.“ Frank previously served as president of Walt Disney Studios (1985-1994), which rose from last to first in film box office market share during his tenure. He led the company's successful entry into interactive media. From 1977 to 1985, Frank served as vice-president and president of the Paramount Television Group of Paramount Pictures, where he was responsible for the Group's production, distribution and marketing of programming worldwide. Frank served an unprecedented six years as president of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
