Richard Gibbs Jr. brings a unique combination of expertise and success in entrepreneurialism and software development to Social Sentinel. Prior to joining the company, Rick was the co-founder and CEO of Dealer.com, the ‘startup turned-billion dollar success story’ which was acquired by Dealertrack in 2014 for $1B. At Dealertrack, he was named
co-president until the company was acquired a year later by Cox Automotive for approximately $4B. At Cox Automotive, Rick served as president of Software Solutions and then executive vice president and chief product officer. He has a proven track record of scaling companies, creating product strategies and leading the technology development roadmap for both startups and global enterprises. At Social Sentinel, Rick oversees operations and is positioning the company for significant growth and expansion.
Previous to co-founding Dealer.com, Mr. Gibbs served as a consultant at Noblestar Systems from 1997 until 1999, where he designed next-generation web applications. Mr. Gibbs holds a BS in Computer Engineering with a focus on Software Engineering from Clarkson University.
