Robert Blick received his Ph.D. from the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Physics in Germany.
He successfully co-founded Nanion Technology, GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. He has won numerous awards and recognition in the field of solid state and biophysics while as the Lynn H. Matthias Professor in Engineering in the Electrical and
Computer Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He currently has over one hundred published research papers and is the holder of 29 patents.
