Bob Carbone is the co-founder and CEO of CrowdBouncer, as well as a board member of the Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates, an organization of the crowdfunding industry’s leading platforms and experts that works with regulatory bodies to establish industry standards and best practices.
Bob was a practicing business attorney (in a former
life) at a mid-size law firm, which was where and how he conceived of the need for a partner to focus on the compliance aspects of the JOBS Act for equity crowdfunding portals.
As an attorney, Bob handled a wide variety of business issues for commercial clients. Prior to practicing law, Bob worked as a financial analyst for NanoDynamics, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of advanced materials for applications in energy, infrastructure and clean-technology.
Additionally, Bob worked for two years as an associate for The Regional Institute, a governance think-tank, working on projects directed at reorganizing governments to economize and streamline service delivery.
