He is widely regarded as a leading banker to the utility industries and has also been a spokesman for the banking industry, testifying before various state and federal regulatory bodies and Congressional committees. Prior to
Chase, he was a founder of Chemical Bank's Utility Group, having joined the bank in 1966. Mr. Gillham has a B.A. from Harvard University.
