Robin holds BSc and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa Canada and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (with high distinction) from the University of Stuttgart. He is a private pilot and holds both glider and powered licenses. Robin spent 4 years at ANSYS Germany developing the renowned Gamma-Rethetat laminar-turbulent
Transition model with Dr. Florian Menter and GE Aircraft Engines. Since 2006 he has worked at the Boeing Company in Product Development and Technology and holds a number of patents on propulsion and airframe noise. He is currently the Chairman of the Enterprise CFD Advisory Board, responsible for guiding CFD technology development and best practices across the Boeing company.
