Most recently prior to the MedShred and Enserv merger, Mr. Ramsey served as Chairman and CEO of MedShred, Inc. He founded and was the CEO of Allied Waste Industries ($5.5B, NYSE) and the co-founder and CFO of ($3.5B, NYSE) Browning Ferris Industries (BFI). Growth companies Mr. Ramsey has been previously associated with have raised over $12 billion
in the national and international capital markets. Mr. Ramsey played important roles in taking three companies from start-up to multi-billion public corporations. Mr. Ramsey was a lead investor and Chairman of the Board of Criterion Group, Inc., a publicly owned, registered investment advisor that grew to more than $12 billion under management before its acquisition by Transamerica. Mr. Ramsey was co-founder and Vice Chairman of The Houstonian, a 23-acre luxury hotel, club, and spa complex with more than 2700 members. In addition to chairing the Board of MedShred, Mr. Ramsey also serves on the Boards of publicly held Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. (CRZO), WCA Waste Corporation (WCAA), and the Finance and Investment Committees of the Board of Trustees of Texas Christian University. Mr. Ramsey is a member of the Environmental Industries Association's Management Hall of Fame. Mr. Ramsey graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University with a B.S. in Commerce.
