Ron Rose has been an executive leader in internet and software technologies for 2 decades in companies which include Dell, Priceline.com, and Standard & Poor's. At Dell, Ron ran an $8B business unit. This B2B division grew at 20%/year during the years he was running it, increasing revenues from $5.5B to $8B, even as Dell's
overall revenues slowed. During this period, innovation velocity increased by 6 fold to over 400 significant software iterations per year. While running this division, Ron was able to fund and launch initiatives in mobile apps/HTML5, and two Social initiatives which generated 40 industry leading patents.
One of Ron's Dell start-ups, called Marketvine, is now a leader in Social eCommerce worldwide. Before that, Ron was the CIO of Priceline.com for over 11 years, helping it to grow from a $100m market cap to a $20B market cap in the process. This was accomplished both by organic growth and by 10 successful acquisitions which accelerated the global growth of the company in all major markets worldwide. Ron has also been CTO of Standard & Poor's, and has run a successful software start-up related to business intelligence in the telecommunications industry.
