Ryno Blignaut came to Xoom in 2005 and is Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer. He oversees finance, treasury and all enterprise risk management. From July 2003 to April 2005, Ryno worked as a consultant in financial regulation with RSM Robson Rhodes LLP (acquired by Grant Thornton LLP), an accounting firm. From September 2002 to February
2003, he served as Head of Finance for PayPal UK, an online payment company, in the United Kingdom. Ryno began his career as an auditor with Deloitte in South Africa and the U.S., and he has been a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1998. Ryno holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors degree in Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa.
