At the age of fifteen, Sam Estrin was one of five founders of MotherNature.com and the original CTO. Billed as the world’s
largest online vitamin, supplement and mineral supplier, MotherNature.com was taken public by Bear Stearns, Whit Capital and Hembrect and Quest in 1999 and reached a peak market cap of $600M.
At nineteen, Sam Estrin co-founded MediaWebcast. A publicly traded “trans-media” company, MediaWebcast, created unique video content that was distributed over cable TV, on-line streaming and direct sales. MediaWebcast reached a peak market cap of $70M.
At twenty-one, Sam Estrin founded Odin Metatech, Inc., his first private company. Odin Metatech, Inc. produced unique technology solutions, including Odin Organic Framework, and Odin Assemble. Odin Metatech rapidly expanded to provide complimentary consulting services, including SEO/SEM, compliance and security. Sam Estrin used Odin Metatech, Inc., as a platform to incubate and spin-off technology projects. At twenty-eight, Sam Estrin joined the TASER International team. As CTO, he led key development activities within the Evidence.com division, which created the Evidence.com SaaS product. TASER International trades under TASR with a market cap of $273M.
Sam Estrin recently co-founded a new entertainment/music start-up that is part of the Be Great Partners incubator in Los Angeles, California.
