As Chief Operations Officer, Sameer has responsibility for Lending Club's operations and corporate strategy, including managing customer support and our customer-facing operations. Before joining Lending Club,Sameer was a partner and leader of the Digital Banking & Consumer Credit practice at McKinsey & Company in London, UK. During
his 11 years with McKinsey, he advised global and emerging financial services institutions on key initiatives in retail banking, consumer credit, digital payments, and risk management. He is a well-respected thought leader, regularly speaking at banking and fintech conferences and authoring documents on financial services and credit card issues, trends, and seminal financial service sector topics. Prior experience includes several years in technology roles at Cambridge Technology Partners and Integral, where he implemented solutions for financial services players. Sameer holds an MBA in strategy and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BTech in chemical engineering and computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi.
