SAMUEL R. WILLCOXON, President and Chief Executive Officer, brings a wealth of expertise to the company, having performed in a variety of senior management roles in Fortune 100 and privately funded healthcare service companies.
Sam began his career at Baxter International as a sales representative. From there, he rose over a period of 14 years
through a variety of sales/marketing and general management positions, most notably in the Caremark subsidiary. In his final position at Caremark, he was responsible for the creation and leadership of its Physician Practice Management division. In this capacity, he led the division from inception to over $700 million in revenues within two years.
In 1995, Sam left Caremark to pursue the leadership of a venture backed healthcare services firm. This company was sold in 1997. Since then, he has worked as an independent consultant focused on the turn around of healthcare service companies. He has been retained by nationally recognized healthcare venture capitalists in these efforts.
