Sander Gerber is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Hudson Bay Capital. Their diversified client base includes public pension plans, foundations, insurance companies, financial institutions and more. Mr. Gerber has more than 24 years of investing experience. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania,
earning a BSE in Finance from Wharton. He also has a BA in Humanistic Philosophy from the College of Arts and Sciences. In 1991, Mr. Gerber became a member of the American Stock Exchange as an options market maker. He left the floor in 1995 to explore other finance opportunities, and in 1997 he founded Gerber Asset Management LLC. Together with key employees from GAM, he then founded Hudson Bay Capital in 2005 which absorbed GAM’s business and its 15 employees.Sander Gerber is active outside of Hudson Bay Capital as well. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and The New York Economic Club. He was formerly a member of the National Board of Directors of AIPAC and he was both Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Investment Management Committee of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
