Scott Bailey joined Tula Technology, Inc. as president and CEO in 2011, and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company while supporting day-to-day operations and working closely with customers and the investment community to enable growth. Prior to Tula, Bailey served as vice president and general manager of gasoline engine
management systems for Delphi Powertrain, where he was responsible for the global organization within the company that provided innovative products to optimize engine efficiency, emissions and performance.
Bailey began his career with General Motors Co. in 1977 and transitioned to Delphi in 1999. He has extensive experience in all phases of engineering and has served in key leadership positions at the product line and divisional levels. He has also started up numerous technical centers, manufacturing plants and joint ventures around the globe.
Bailey is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, where he served on the executive leadership team for the North American International Powertrain Conference, and has also served on the boards of directors for five international joint ventures in the automotive sector. He is a frequent speaker on various panels focused on powertrain and alternative energy trends.
Bailey holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and a master’s in business administration from Harvard University.
