I’m a “semi-reformed” entrepreneur who still loves shipping product – but today I spend most of my time recapitalising overlooked tech businesses through North Face Investments, sitting on growth-hungry boards like inkl, and mentoring founders who are one hard pivot away from breakout traction.
Over 25 years I’ve helped launch 15 start-ups and
guided four exits, most notably Effective Measure, the audience-analytics platform we expanded into 23 countries before a strategic sale.
I’ve helped businesses raise plenty of US & International venture capital across a number of deals and helped managed businesses through two global crises.
From this I have learned that optimism only works when it’s paired with ruthless pragmatism and data.
I’m passionate about “pragmatic AI” – embedding predictive models inside existing workflows rather than chasing hype – and about taking Australian innovation to the world.
