Seamus Blackley is a game development veteran who has been in the business for decades. He was cofounder of Innovative Leisure, a maker of mobile games.
Before that, he was division head for games at Creative Artists Agency from 2003 to 2011, where he helped game industry talent put deals together. He was also cofounder of Capital Entertainment
Group, a game financing startup.
He is best known as the visionary co-creator of the Xbox video game console, which marked Microsoft’s entry into the video game business in 2001. That turned into a multibillion-dollar enterprise for Microsoft.
He also made games such as Flight Unlimited and Jurassic Park: Trespasser. And he is a trained physicist.
