Sean Leonard, Founder and CEO, is responsible for managing the business, technology direction, and strategy of the company. Sean holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees (’04, ’05) in EECS from MIT, and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School. Prior to founding Penango, Sean worked on technology transactions, patent prosecution, and
intellectual property litigation at Morrison & Foerster in San Diego and Tokyo, and the Software Freedom Law Center in New York. Sean also served as a software developer using Java, cell phone and web technologies at the IBM Tokyo Research lab and at IBM Extreme Blue in North Carolina.
