Shahin has over 18 years of in-depth experience in the investment banking industry in geographies including the Unites States, Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe, CIS and the MENASAT region.
Shahin has successfully completed transactions in various industry sectors including Consumer, Utilities & Renewables, Technology, Real
Estate, Mining, Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors. Shahin has substantial experience of executing transactions in product areas including M&A, takeovers and buy-outs, privatizations, capital markets, private placement, venture capital and trade sales.
Prior to joining Bank Alkhair, Shahin was based in Dubai and headed the corporate finance advisory at Jasper Capital, a boutique advisory firm headquartered in London with offices in the GCC region. Shahin joined Jasper Capital following a successful venture capital raising for a technology firm based in New York.
Following the completion of his MBA degree in 2000, Shahin joined the International/Emerging Markets Team of HSBC Investment Banking in London, acting as a team member on various investment banking transactions in geographies including Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Shahin began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in India and spent three years in the Audit and Transaction Support Group. During this period he worked on a number of due-diligence and corporate finance transactions in various industry sectors.
Shahin graduated from Pune University, India with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance (1998) and holds an MBA in Investment Banking & Finance from Said Business School, Oxford University (2000).
