Artists and marketers use Topspin’s direct-to-fan platform to grow their audience and turn fans into customers. Shamal has been working to advance music since 1996 and has been focused on the
mission to help artists from the onset of his career including the earliest days of Topspin in 2002 with Co-Founder, Peter Gotcher. Before starting Topspin full-time in 2007, Shamal was involved in data mining at Yahoo! Music and headed up product management at Musicmatch releasing versions 8 through 10. He learned his music product development chops as an early member of the RealNetworks RealJukebox MP3 Player team in 1999.
