Mr. Lubar is Chairman of Lubar & Co., a private investment company. He was formerly Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christiana Companies, a NYSE listed company engaged in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.
Mr. Lubar has held appointed positions under Presidents Nixon, Ford and Carter, as Assistant Secretary of Housing and
Mortgage Credit and Commissioner of the Federal Housing Administration, a Director of the Federal National Mortgage Association, and a Commissioner of the White House Conference on Small Business. His current public service positions include Trustee of the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Public Museum, and the State of Wisconsin Historical Society.
Mr. Lubar is a Director of MGIC Investment Corporation, Weatherford International, Grant-Prideco, Inc., C2, Inc. and a number of private industrial companies.
He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds degrees from the School of Business and the Law School. He received an honorary doctorate of Commercial Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
