Dr. Shamir serves as the Chairman of the Board of Scodix.
Before joining the board of Scodix, Dr. Shamir served as the president of Aeronautics Ltd., and prior to that he served as the president and CEO of NICE Systems Ltd. During his tenure at NICE Systems, the company grew from a $120m business to over $600m, and from a $300m to $2.4b market
cap, doing business globally with 80% of Fortune 100 companies as customers.
Prior to being with NICE, Dr. Shamir served as Scitex America’s and later CreoScitex America’s President and CEO, both market leaders in the pre-press and digital printing industries.
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics from the Technion in Israel and M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California.
He brings with him vast experience in all aspects of building, managing and bringing to global leadership hi-tech companies in the printing, communications and other industries. He currently serves on the board of various public and privately held companies.
