Simon Walsh is Virtustream’s Managing Director responsible for leading global efforts to progress our vertical market Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives, Global Account priorities, Federation channel efforts and external channel GTM efforts. Before Virtustream, Simon was the senior vice president and Chief Operating Officer for EMC EMEA, where he was
responsible for delivering growth, through meeting the needs of EMC’s customers and driving transformation across EMEA toward a consultative solutions capability. His responsibilities also included portfolio development, segmentation, sales, new customer acquisition, customer service and overall commercial accountability for Profit and Loss.
Prior to joining EMC, Simon was executive vice president and member of the Executive Committee for Colt Technology Services. He was also non-executive director and latterly stood-in as CEO of MarketPrizm, a wholly-owned Colt subsidiary.
Previously, Simon was Managing Director at Computacenter UK Ltd, where he spent 17 years, undertaking various field, central, operational and management positions in sales, services and strategy.
