Sofia Viscuso is a Dallas, TX native and a 2022 graduate of Tulane University with degrees in marketing and communications. Early in her college career, Sofia developed a passion for pursuing equity in the workplace and expanding access to opportunities. This led Sofia down several paths including being a new student orientation leader, the
President of the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and founding her business, Rize.
Rize connects college students to businesses through short-term paid projects. Founded during the pandemic, Sofia’s goal was to expand access to real-world job opportunities for students of all backgrounds, while supporting the development of businesses in New Orleans and beyond. Sofia has led Rize to pitch competition winnings totaling over $30K from organizations such as Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and Moody’s Analytics.
Sofia is excited to grow Rize in the New Orleans community and hopes to make a lasting impact!
