Steve is the President & CEO of Encentiv Energy and one of its co-founders. For the last 20 years Steve has been at the leading edge of multiple energy industry trends. At Strategic Energy he led marketing and national sales as the company grew from a startup to revenue of over $1.2B when it was sold to Great Plains Energy.
He then joined
the executive team at Cadence Network, a utility bill management software company, where in less than four years helped triple the size of the company and sell it to its largest competitor. Steve developed the concept for Encentiv Energy in 2009 just as the energy industry was moving from focusing on deregulation to developing incentives to promote energy efficiency. His vision for Encentiv Energy is to provide customers the information and tools to leverage the most value out of their energy efficiency projects.
Steve has a JD degree from the University of Pittsburgh - School of Law and a BS in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Steve is also a graduate of the Wexner Heritage Leadership Program and is President of the Board of the Agency for Jewish Learning.
