Susan K Rits
Susan is a senior product design manager on the Health Tech product team, leading user research, product design and usability testing across the breadth of the team’s projects. She joined the J&J team in 2018 and has previously led digital design teams for web and mobile software for ecommerce, entertainment and enterprise
products.
With deep experience in behavioral science, user research and technology development Susan has spent over two decades designing user experiences and leading product design teams at Google, CNNMoney.com, BabyCenter, PayPal, ABC, FOX, Oracle and Sephora. In 2009, after leaving Google, she founded Zazum: SeeLoveBuy, an adtech start-up that makes movies and broadcast television shoppable. She has two patents for web and mobile UX designs and audio technology.
Susan has a B.A. in Anthropology from Whitman College, an M.A. in creative writing from California State University, Chico, and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area where she mentors product design and technology students and leads startup bootcamps internationally.
