Susanne V. Hering, Founder and President, has many decades of experience in the field of atmospheric aerosols. She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Washington, with postdoctoral work in Environmental Engineering at the California Institute of Technology. After many years at UCLA, she left the academic world to form Aerosol Dynamics
Inc. She has served as a Board Member and as President of the American Association for Aerosol Research, and in 2007 was honored as the recipient of the BYH Liu Award, presented by the Association in recognition of contributions to aerosol instrumentation.
