Tahua Yang has 30 years managerial and technical experience in the medical device industry. He has been in the R&D executive roles for Global Fortune 500 and startup companies. Tahua was Director of Engineering at CooperVision, VP of Engineering at Amsino Medical Group (in Shanghai, China), Research Fellow at Abbott Diagnostics, and other
senior technical roles at Baxter Healthcare. Tahua obtained his Ph.D. and M.S. in Macromolecular Sciences from Case Western Reserve University and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. He has 21 US original patents and 5 Chinese original patents in the medical devices field.
