Tamara A. Seymour has served as Signal Genetics’ Chief Financial Officer since August 2014 and is responsible for finance, administration, investor relations, and human resources. Prior to joining the company, Tamara served as Chief Financial Officer of HemaQuest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. beginning in 2010. From 2001 to 2009, she served as Chief
Financial Officer for Favrille, Inc. While at Favrille, she was instrumental in raising over $200 million in multiple private and public equity and debt financings, including the company’s IPO in February 2005. From 1991 to 2001, Tamara consulted as chief financial officer for a number of biotechnology companies. From 1988 through 1991, she was Director of Finance and Controller with Agouron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. From 1980 and 1988, she worked with Deloitte & Touche LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in various positions including audit manager from 1985 to 1988. Tamara is a Certified Public Accountant. She received an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Valdosta State University.
