Teresa Taylor has served as a director of our Company since April 30, 2013 and has been our lead independent director since May 1, 2013. Taylor is also a member and chair of the Compensation Committee of our Board of Directors.
Taylor served as Chief Operating Officer of Qwest Communications, Inc., a telecommunications carrier, from August 2009
to April 2011. She served as Qwest’s Executive Vice President, Business Markets Group, from January 2008 to April 2009 and served as its Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer from December 2005 to January 2008. Taylor served in various positions with Qwest and the former US West beginning in 1987. During her 24-year tenure with Qwest and US West, she held various leadership positions and was responsible for strategic planning and execution, sales, marketing, product, network, information technology, human resources and corporate communications.
Taylor also is a director of First Interstate BancSystem, Inc., where she serves as chair of the Compensation Committee and NiSource, Inc. She also serves as an executive advisor to Governor Hickenlooper of Colorado, assisting the Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
Taylor received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Taylor’s individual qualifications and skills that led to the conclusion that she should serve as a director include her extensive experience in the technology, media and the telecommunications sectors, including her knowledge regarding strategic planning and execution, technology development, human resources, labor relations and corporate communications.
