Tianyang recently completed his BSEE at Pitt and will be starting the Embedded Systems graduate program at University of Pennsylvania. During his co-op at the Human Engineering Research Labs, he was in charge of the electronics design of PathMeT. After joining pathVu, he designed the Android crowdsourcing app for pathVu. While surveying sidewalks
in Boston, he tripped on a sidewalk which was seriously elevated by a tree. Even as an avid soccer player and athlete, he could barely avoid the fall. From that point, he made up his mind to contribute to more accessible sidewalks.
