Responsible for evaluating and overseeing investment, treasury, and all real estate-related activities and new development initiatives for JE Dunn Construction, Tim Dunn serves as Vice Chair/Chief Investment and Treasury Officer for the family-owned company. Started in 1924 and now in its fourth generation of family ownership, JE Dunn serves
clients nationwide out of its 20 offices and brings in approximate annual revenues of $3.6 billion.
In his prior role as the Director of Finance and in his current capacity, Tim oversees the underwriting of owners’ and subcontractors’ financial risks, including the SMS program and the implementation of risk hedges (including primary oversight and relationship of Subgurad program and its insurance carrier); manages the relationship with Company sureties; acts as Chief Investment Officer of the Company captive; and performs duties of Manager for William Henry Insurance and William Henry Agency. Before coming on board at JE Dunn, Dunn held positions as Executive Contract Underwriter at Hartford Financial and Surety Bond Underwriter at Chubb Corp. Dunn is a graduate of the University of Richmond and holds an MBA in Real Estate Finance from UMKC.
