Dr. Tom Driscoll serves as the Director of the MCC, leading the metamaterials research and development effort happening inside Intellectual Ventures Laboratories, as well as coordinating business development efforts led by the Invention Science Fund. Tom Driscoll received his B.S. in physics from Harvey Mudd, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from
University of California, San Diego with a concentration in condensed matter and electromagnetic metamaterials, and holds an Adjunct Professor position at Duke University.
