Tom is a career educator and innovator. He currently serves as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo California, an Adjunct Professor in the Center for Homeland Defense and Security at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, and Adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering
Sciences at the University of Illinois.
