A software developer and architect turned product manager, entrepreneur, and executive leader. In the past decade my career focused on leading the product function in top video software video startups and founding 2 startups in the job search and data visualization markets. My 'side-gig' had always been mentoring and advising 100s of
startups, and running entrepreneurship and innovation workshops at Israeli accelerators and government entrepreneurship programs.
After completing an advanced software engineering course at the Technion in Israel, I joined several startups back in the 2000 bubble era. I then moved to New Zealand where I led business process improvement projects at large government organizations and founded my first startup in the data visualization space. After completing a 7 year stint overseas, I returned home and joined leading video startups Powtoon.com and Promo.com as head of product. In between I founded my 2nd startup in the recruitment space. Throughout my career, I was always at the intersection of coding, user experience, product and leadership.
I have been intimately involved in all aspects of entrepreneurship, from envisioning the concept, business planning, hiring, operations build out, funds raising, strategic partnerships, outsourcing, finances, marketing, and more. With a focus on action and results, I am a leader who jumps into the trenches, learning and then executing the necessary steps to achieve goals, enthusiastically working to keep everything moving forward to make our shared vision a reality.
KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:
► Mentoring 100s of startups on competitive analysis, go-to-market analysis, investor pitch and product roadmap ► Conducting detailed due diligence and market/competitive analysis of 100s of proposed business ideas ► Building start-ups from conception to launch through proof of concept and early sales ► Raising financing for development of new business ideas ► Sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships and alliances ► Reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts, and proposals ► Building BI dashboards for tactical and strategic objectives
